Hyorin (효린) is one step closer to the release of her untitled comeback album.
The talented SISTAR (씨스타) vocalist dropped her collaborative track, titled “One Step” (원 스텝), with Jay Park (박재범) at midnight on Tuesday (1st November) and its laidback harmony has gotten us hooked.
Unlike “Love Like This” featuring Dok2, “One Step” is a sensual R&B track that emphasises on the songstress’ soft, husky voice and Jay Park’s smooth, mellow vocals. The song plays around with the idea of a “push-pull relationship”.
“You just need to come a little closer/ Why are you hesitating so much/ You just need to take one step/ One step one step one step/ You can try to hide but I see it all/ I know your heart/ But you pretend to push me away/ You just need to take one step/ One step one step one step.”
Directed by Jimmy, the music video for the duet stars Hyorin and it was shot in a faded filter. While the “Me Like Yuh” singer doesn’t appear in the 3-minute-long clip, fans will get to see Hyorin’s cute and flirty side.

Aside from preparing for her comeback, the “One Way Love” singer has been active in releasing OSTs for various K-Dramas, including “I Miss You” for “Uncontrollably Fond”, and was featured in Far East Movement’s “Umbrella”, taken from the American hip hop group’s latest album, “Identity”.
Hyorin’s 2nd full album, which doesn’t have a title yet, is slated for release on 8th November.
