Oh no, here we go again.
As confirm by the Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia, for the 2nd straight month, petrol and diesel prices in Malaysia will see an increase across the board, by 15 sen.
Starting today (1st November, Tuesday), RON95 will be priced at RM1.95 per litre (up RM0.15 from RM1.80 per litre) and ROM97 at RM2.30 per litre (up RM0.15 from RM2.15 per litre). The price for diesel has also been tweaked to RM1.90 per litre (up RM0.15 from RM1.75 per litre).
Since 1st December 2015, Malaysia’s petrol and diesel prices have been managed on a float system following the removal of fuel subsidies due to falling global fuel prices. The managed float system is based on the monthly average world price of crude oil.
