Finally! Brad Pitt and his children have reunited. Well, for a while, at least.
It is understood that the 52-year-old actor had reportedly gone weeks without seeing his kids since news broke of his and Angelina Jolie’s divorce. This news comes after it was announced that both Pitt and Jolie had settled on a temporary custody agreement that allowed the actress to have temporary sole custody of their kids.
According to E! News, the voluntary agreement sees the duo taking part in individual counselling, with Pitt receiving visitation rights under the supervision of a therapist for all visits up until 20th October. The actor has also agreed to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
The former couple have 6 kids together – Maddox Chivan, 15; Pax Thien, 12; Zahara Marley, 11; Shiloh Nouvel, 10; as well as twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, 8. However, not all of his children were present during the monitored reunion over the past weekend. No word yet on who were there and who weren’t in attendance.
Federal authorities are still investigating allegations that involve Pitt in a child abuse incident while aboard a private plane. The specific incident apparently had to do with their oldest son, Maddox, who a source claimed “just wasn’t that receptive to Brad”.
Hopefully time will mend some of those wounds. The pair have both maintain that the wellbeing of their children are their top priority right now.
