#HappyLayDay Xingmis! Your favourite oppa has finally dropped his highly-anticipated solo track 🙂
As today (7th October) is EXO’s Chinese member Lay’s (레이) birthday, he decided to make it the song’s release date as well. The talented singer’s first Chinese digital album, “what U need”, was just released earlier today and fans are going cray cray.
“what U need” is a mid-tempo dance track containing “a trendy rhythm and a funky pop groove” which tells the story of being “overwhelmed” by a lover’s charm.
The stylish music video begins with Lay driving a super sleek sports car in an empty underground parking lot. He steps out of the car, takes out his phone, and plays his new song. The rest of the music video shows Lay and his dancers showing off his cool choreography at various spots in the car park.
At the end of the video, Lay drives off. His car stops suddenly and the as he steps out, his eyes turn red and the words “Lose Control” and “Coming Soon” appears in the final frame, indicating his new song’s title.
