Wanna make a paw-sitive impact?
Now is your chance ’cause Uber is partnering with PAWS (Paws Animal Welfare Society) and PetFinder.my to deliver kittens in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow (Wednesday, 14th September). The UberKUCING campaign allows Uber users to enjoy 15 minutes of furry playtime with just a RM30 “snuggle fee” (donation).
The same movement (#UberKittens) also helped over 300 kittens find permanent homes in the US.
Interested in ordering kittens to your office/home? Just make sure to turn on the Uber app between 11am to 4pm and request the “Kucing” option. If you are keen to adopt, adoption info will be left behind after each visit.
But do note that the kittens are subject to availability. If you can’t get the kittens to your doorstep, you can always visit PAWS or browse PetFinder.my.
On a side note, the ride-hailing app will be launching its uberX services to its 6th Malaysian city – Kuching, Sarawak – tomorrow, the same day as UberKUCING. Well played Uber, well played.
Payment for Uber in Kuching can be made via cash or credit card, and the fare structure is as below:
- Base fare: RM0.95
- Per km: RM0.50
- Per min: RM0.25
- Minimum: RM0.95
