A 19-year-old teenager has been reported missing since Saturday (10th September) night.
The teenager, Edwin Koh, was last seen driving out on a metalic dark brown Perodua Myvi with the number plate WNS 2086. He left his family home, located in USJ, Subang Jaya, between 10:30pm to 11pm.
David Koh, the father of the missing person, related: “I last saw him on Saturday night; he had just returned from his part-time job in Bangsar Shopping Centre. (After that) He took my vehicle without permission as usual and I have not seen or heard from him since.”
David explained that he just came back from outstation and he did not speak to Edwin as his son appeared to be tired. He also clarified that it wasn’t unusual for his son to leave the house without informing anyone.
He is also unsure as to why Edwin left the house and where he was headed to. He suspected that his son went out with friends “for tea” but when contacted, his friends revealed that they’ve never met up with Edwin. A police report was made yesterday (Monday, 12th September) and friends and family have tried to contact him but to no avail.
Edwin is currently a mass communications student at the Management and Science University (MSU) in Shah Alam, and is majoring in event management.
Anyone with info on Edwin’s whereabouts is encouraged to call his father at 012-7918612.
UPDATE (15th September, 5pm):
Edwin Koh has been found.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday (13th September), a Facebook user under the name of David Koh, who claims to be the father of Edwin, revealed that the teenager is currently “safe and sound”. He also thanked everyone who made an effort to track down his beloved son.
If you were wondering where he was, you’re not alone. Apparently, the 19-year-old got a tad too drunk, and passed out at his friend’s place after drinking too much.
Well, we’re glad that he was found, but peeps, remember to always inform your close ones before going out! If anything happens, at least someone knows where you are 🙂
