Pokémasters, prepare your Pokéballs because Pokémon GO is finally here in Malaysia!
Many Malaysians woke up today (Saturday, 6th August) to the news that Pokémon GO is now available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The popular augmented reality game has been in high demand since its initial release in Australasia and the US.
Malaysia is not the only country to see the release of Pokémon GO, as interested Pokémasters in Brunei, Cambodia, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam can also now chase after their dreams of catching ’em all.
While it was reported that Pokémon GO would be available for Asian users on 14th July, the rumour turned out to be false, disappointing many Malaysians. However, that hasn’t stopped users from speculating after they found out that the developer, Niantic, had opened up dedicated Asian servers just 2 weeks ago.
