Thousands of fans rallied behind the multi-talented #Gun when he was eliminated from the reality survival programme “No Mercy”, but it looks like the unfortunate decision was a blessing in disguise after all.
It’s because #Gun (pronounced Sharp Gun), who is also the cousin of WINNER’s Song Minho, will finally be making his solo debut under Starship Entertainment.
The rapper, who recently made an appearance in “Show Me The Money 5”, will be releasing his 1st solo effort soon, although the exact date has not been revealed. The single will be composed by Just Music’s Giriboy and will feature rapper Crucial Star.
However, this is not the first time that #Gun will bring his music to the public as he released his song “Reload” in April via Starship’s “Young Line Rapper” mixtape programme.
Take a look at the short music video here:
#Gun, real name Song Gunhee, was first introduced to the public in “No Mercy” where 13 trainees were pitted against each other in a bid to debut in the idol group Monsta X. 7 successful contestants made it to the end and debuted in May 2015 with the extended play “Trespass”, but unfortunately, #Gun wasn’t part of the group.
However, that wasn’t the last the public saw of the rapper, as he was spotted in the audience section during Song Mino’s performance on “Show Me The Money 4”. He then participated in the 5th season of the show, and even made it until the 2nd last episode.
Don’t forget to keep a lookout on Starship Entertainment’s official Facebook page for updates on his solo debut!
