IKEA Malaysia is turning 20 this year!
In conjunction with their anniversary, the furniture and home appliances company is offering discounts up to 70% for a selected range of products, but that’s not all! You’ll also be able to get your favourite meatballs and almond cake for free!
The birthday bash will be held at both Damansara and Cheras outlets, with products such as side tables, floor lamps, scented candles, cabinets, storage boxes, and more on sale from 14th July (Thursday) ’til the end of this week. With some items slashed from RM169 to RM69 (that’s 60% off the original price!), it would be a waste to give this a pass.
If you don’t have any furniture or appliance in mind, ‘fret not, cos IKEA has got some very attractive food offers to satisfy your hunger pangs. The promotions are as below:
- 14th July (Thursday) – Purchase 15 pieces of meatballs and get the next plate for free.
- 15th July (Friday) – Purchase a slice of almond cake and get the next slice for free.
- 16th July (Saturday) – Purchase 10 pieces of veggie balls with black pepper sauce at RM2 only.
- 17th July (Sunday) – Purchase 15 pieces of meatballs and get a pasta with 5 pieces of meatballs at 50% off.
IKEA’s Kids Club members will also get to enjoy free ice creams all day while the whole family will get to enjoy a free breakfast courtesy of IKEA if they arrive before 10am! For those craving for desserts, popcorns and candy flosses will be given out at selected hours too 😉
Apart from discounts, 20 other activities will be held to keep you and your family occupied. You can play games, get your face painted, wax your hands, join a Hot Dog eating competition, get your caricature drawn, and enter a contest to be in the running to win a RM200 IKEA gift card!
The best thing is, you’ll be able to get a stamp for each activity you participate in, and if you’ve collected 5 or more stamps at the end, you’ll be able to redeem more gifts.
Also, this might be a good time to get an IKEA FAMILY membership, as you’ll be entitled to a mystery gift when you sign up.
That might seem like an awful lot of activities, but well, we can’t think of a better way for IKEA Malaysia to show their appreciation on this occasion 😉
