Malaysian commuters, you’d be pleased to know that toll rates will be cheaper this Hari Raya.
According to Group Chief Executive Officer of Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak) Sazally Saidi, all classes of vehicles using the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) will be given a 60sen discount while Sprint highway users will enjoy a 20sen discount.
The discount will start from 12:01am to 11:59pm, on 6th July 2016 (Wednesday). This move is part of Litrak’s initiative to distribute traffic during this festive period and also to encourage the public to travel during off-peak days instead.
“We run this toll discount campaign during all festive seasons. This is for all highway users and includes all classes of vehicles. We also wish all those who will balik kampung a safe journey back,” Sazally told The Star.
Elsewhere, Anih Berhad’s Karak Highway and East Coast Expressway (Lebuhraya Pantai Timur Fasa 1, LPT1) will also be offering a 10% discount for drivers using Touch n Go or Smart TAG on 6th July.
That’s not all, PLUS Malaysia is also offering a 30% toll rebate for all PLUS highways users who travelling more than 100km. The toll rebate will be given to Class 1 Vehicle users paying toll electronically on off-peak days on 4th, 8th, and 11th July.
Users are only allowed to redeem the 30% toll rebate (in the form of reload) at any PLUS customer service centres between 15th August and 14th November.
