A notification letter will be sent out to affected customers, and those who receive the letter are advised to bring their vehicles to the nearest authorised Honda dealer immediately for inspection to avoid any untoward incident. Honda Malaysia also stated that all current selling models will not be affected by the recall.

Earlier in March, Honda Malaysia recalled a total of 93,929 cars of various models over a 12V battery issue, as the affected vehicles “(did) not meet Honda Malaysia’s specific requirements, and it may lead to battery damage when the engine is started.”
Honda car owners can check their vehicle recall status by calling the Honda Toll Free number at 1-800-88-2020, log on to Honda’s official website, or visit any authorised Honda dealers.
