So, do you have what it takes to be in “The Amazing Race Asia”?

Asia’s most popular adventure reality television show will be returning later this year and you might stand a chance to be a part of it because the series’ open auditions are back! “The Amazing Race Asia Season 5” walk-in auditions will take place in Sunway Pyramid on 4th and 5th June 2016 from 12pm to 6pm.

This time, AXN is looking for 10 feisty duos who are also social media enthusiasts to embark this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“We’re seeking dynamic teams who embody the AXN attitude that is smart, tenacious, determined and strong. A passion for social media is also a key requirement as contestants will be engaging with AXN’s viewers and sharing their heart-pumping experiences throughout the race,” said Virginia Lim, Vice President and Head of Content and Marketing in a statement.

She also added that this season’s race will be filled with drama, surprise, and intensity.

But don’t get too excited just yet, there are a few requirements for interested participants to follow before applying:

  • Must apply in teams of 2
  • Must be over 21 years old
  • Able to speak English
  • Posses a valid passport
  • Have an international driving license
  • Must be living/or working in Asia

During the open auditions, participants can create their 3-minute long video on the spot and are required to bring along the necessary documents for registration. For each video submission, applicants will be able to receive a limited edition gift from AXN.

For those unable to make the casting in Sunway Pyramid, application can be done online via AXN’s website, www.AXN-Asia.com/TARA. Like the walk-in auditions, a 3-minute video must be submitted as well.
