Who’s keen on snapping a selfie with the Sultan of Johor’s customised Transformers look-alike truck?
In conjunction with the annual Kembara Mahkota Johor (2016 KMJ), Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar will be hitting the road with this year’s headliner for the royal road trip: his 3 Mack trucks. Not 1, not 2, but 3 freaking Mack trucks!
For its 19th edition, this year’s KMJ will see the Sultan driving his RM1.4 million custom made red, blue, and white Mack truck (from Brisbane, Australia) around state from 14th May to 17th May. It is reportedly the most expensive Mack truck in the world.
According to The New Straits Times, the Sultan’s Optimus Prime look-alike truck will be accompanied by 2 other Mack trucks – one with a scorpion theme on its body and the other an orange coloured theme truck – which will be driven by Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim.

Aside from the gigantic eye-popping Mack trucks, the road trip will also include 2 busses, 35 Harley Davidson superbikes, and 10 four-wheel drive vehicles during the 842km tour over 10 districts.
The journey will begin from the Johor Baharu City Council Square this Saturday (14th May) and will end at the Eastern Dispersal Link Highway (EDL), Pandan Rest and Recreation Area the following Tuesday (17th May).
To those intending to catch the entourage, be sure to show up at Dataran Bandaraya this Saturday for the flag off ceremony.
