Whoa, it looks like it’s a double celebration for superhero star Ryan Reynolds today!
First, it was officially announced that a “Deadpool” sequel is on its way with Ryan Reynolds returning to star. Oh, you know, the Marvel superhero flick that broke major records, becoming the biggest-grossing R-rated movie of all time as it earned $745.7 million worldwide. Now, US Weekly is reporting that his “Gossip Girl” wife is pregnant with their 2nd child!
As seen in the picture above, 28-year-old Blake Lively was spotted on the set of her upcoming shark triller flick, “The Shallows “. Although the new mama-to-be did her best to hide her baby bump with a robe, it was pretty obvious in that fitted wet suit.
Both Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are known to be a pretty private couple. If you remember, they tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in 2012. Then, in December 2014, Blake Lively gave birth to their 1st child, a daughter named James. But the couple kept mum about their baby girl and only revealed her birthdate a year later on her 1st birthday.
That having said, although they’ve been quite secretive about their personal lives, they’ve been pretty open about wanting a big family. Ryan previously told Details magazine in 2013, “We’d love to have a big family. We both come from big families — my parents did 4, Blake’s did 5. A lot of people say it’s crazy, but we’ll only know when we’re there, you know? We’ll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think.”
Well, Ryan, here’s your 2nd step to making that a reality. Congratulations to the happy couple and we can’t wait to see more pictures of Blake Lively’s baby bump 🙂
