“Song-Song” couple fans will be in for a treat because Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) will be extending the broadcast for “Descendants Of The Sun” by airing 3 special episodes the week after the finale (20th to 22nd April).

With the drama garnering so much love from fans (30% viewer rating), it’s no wonder the broadcast station has decided to add an extra week for it.

Do keep in mind that the special episodes are not a continuation of the story as the drama was fully pre-recorded last year before its release.

A representative from KBS announced that the drama will end with 16 episodes on 16th April as planned, while the special episodes will include highlight reels, behind-the-scenes, and an epilogue.

As there will be an extra week of “Descendants Of The Sun”, KBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Master: God Of Noodles” will make its premiere on 27th April instead.

We can never seem to get enough of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo and it was recently reported that the duo plans to repay the drama’s cast and crew by taking them out for a meal in a restaurant on 1st April.

Isn’t it very sweet of them? 🙂
