2016 is definitely a year of love and wedding bells.
Hong Kong superstar sweethearts Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and Him Law (羅仲謙) are officially (and secretly) married in England last Tuesday (22th March)!
The wedding was supposed to be an absolute secret until the press got hold of their wedding picture that was taken in front of Leeds Castle, where they registered their marriage.
It was reported that their marriage was witnessed by Tavia’s mother and Him’s father in a private ceremony of less than 20 relatives.
“We were just very low profile. We’ve been dating for a few years, so marriage was something that everyone was expecting anyway. It wasn’t anything that was too shocking or unacceptable,” said the 36-year-old actress in an interview upon her arrival at the Hong Kong International Airport on Sunday (27th March).
The newlyweds also stated that they will be holding a wedding banquet for their friends and family some time this year.
At the end of the 10-minute long interview, the media asked if Tavia is pregnant, and the actress jokingly answered that she still has a 22-inch waist.
Tavia Yeung and Him Law started dating when they were co-stars for popular TVB drama “The Hippocratic Crush (On Call 36小時)” back in 2012.
Although they were scrutinised heavily by the media and the public because of their age gap (Him being 5 years younger than Tavia), they stayed strong for 4 years.
