In the new trailer for The “Divergent” Series: “Allegiant”, Tris Prior (played by Shailene Woodley) and her comrades find themselves in new dangers outside the perimeter walled off city of Chicago.
The last time we saw Tris, Four (played by Theo James) and their group of friends in “Insurgent“, they discovered (thanks to Tris’ ability to unlock a message) that their whole lives were used as an experiment to develop divergents such as Tris.
The synopsis from the 3rd installment of the “Divergent” series, “Allegiant”, is as follows:
“After the earth-shattering revelations of INSURGENT, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths.
“Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.”
“When I first found out I was Divergent, I never thought it would come to this. I could never imagine that I’d be standing here,” says Tris in the latest trailer for “Allegiant” as more drama unfolds.
The upcoming movie promises more nail-bitting action scenes as heroine Tris and her crew explore a brave new world that none of them are prepared for. But more importantly, all eyes are on Tris and Four as they strip off their clothes and stand together in a shower scene.

Lionsgate has split the final novel in Veronica Roth’s Divergent trilogy into 2 parts: “Allegiant” opens on 18th March while the final film, “Ascendant”, is slated for a release in June 2017.
