Little Mix consists of Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The were formed exclusively for the 8th series of “The X Factor” in 2011 after successfully auditioned as soloists. They established themselves as one of Britain’s brightest pop acts after becoming the first-ever group to win “The X Factor”.

The group signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice’s “Cannonball” as their winner’s single. In November 2012, they made their debut with “DNA”, the album which charted in the top 5 in 8 countries, including number 2 in the UK and number 4 on the US Billboard 200. This made them the first UK girl group since The Pussycat Dolls to spend their first week in the top 5. They are also the first UK girl group to earn the highest debut US chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls.
