As you may have already heard, the second International Music Summit (IMS) Asia-Pacific will be returning to Singapore in a couple of weeks following the huge success of its first installment last year.
What is IMS?
It’s the premier platform of thought leadership in electronic music, fronted by music icon and industry leader Pete Tong. After hosting international and local leaders in discussion last year, IMS Asia-Pacific is setting the stage for an even further expansion, as well as a deeper connection to unearthing the unique and valuable aspects of this region.
Last year’s edition saw an entourage of some of the world’s most influential people in the music business and esteemed dance music talents such as Steve Angello, Pete Tong, NERVO, Paul Oakenfold, Richie Hawtin, and more.
So the golden question is, who will be helming some of the panels during this year’s IMS Asia-Pacific?
Of course, we all know who Kaskade is for the American DJ/producer extraordinaire really needs no introduction.
IMS Asia-Pacific will also see Sharam (one half of the Grammy award-winning duo Deep Dish), as well as fellow Malaysians Rahul Kukreja (co-founder of Livescape Group) and DJ Blink come together in distinct panels to spark thoughtful conversations, and tackle vital and current topics that impact the region. Details of the topics will be announced soon.
With some 30 artistes and industry players expected at IMS AP 2015, the event serves as a perfect opportunity to unite the industry, as well as to educate the wider world about the opportunities, challenges and current successes of the region.
This is only the first wave and already, it’s getting interesting 🙂
