If you thought the crowds at the ticket launch of BIGBANG‘s “MADE” World Tour in Malaysia were crazy, well, think again.
Tonnes of fashion enthusiasts have started queueing up and set up a camp outside the H&M flagship store at Avenue K since last night for the highly anticpated Balmain x H&M collection.
H&M, a Swedish multinational retail-clothing company, is prominently known as a fast fashion brand that churned out trendy fashion pieces at affordable prices.
Last year, the brand collaborated with American fashion designer, Alexander Wang for a special collection as well. The collection was quickly snapped up by fans once the doors opened at 10am.
The cycle repeated today when H&M launched a special collection with French fashion house Balmain, which currently does not has its own store in Malaysia yet.
The Balmain x H&M collection was officially launched this morning at H&M’s Avenue K and Lot 10 stores.
While lining up for the collection, one of the eager shoppers, Melissa Lau Jayne spoke to The Malay Mail Online about her budget for the day.
She said:
I’m looking to get 4 items if I can get my hands on them, so in total it’s about RM1,500 to RM1,800.
To hold back the overzealous fans, H&M Malaysia put a notice on its website stating that customers are only allowed to purchase one of each item of its collection.
