“I can’t feel my face when I’m with you. But I love it, but I love it.”
Abel Tesfaya, better known by his stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian R&B singer and songwriter. Following the hottest hit “Earned It” from the erotic romance movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” and his recent “The Hills“, he once again pleased his fans with a new track titled “Can’t Feel My Face”.
After the track was leaked (and taken down later on) by producer Max Martin, The Weeknd made a surprise appearance and performed “Can’t Feel My Face” at the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Monday (8th June) in San Francisco, California.
Known for producing pop music, the Swedish producer Max Martin co-wrote the lyrics and laid over pop synths for “Can’t Feel My Face”. The track establishes itself with a soft mellow tone of Tesfaya’s voice but by the time it reaches the infectious catchy chorus, you probably would subconsciously move your body or bootay and full on groove to the tune 😉
Don’t believe us? Well, you should hear it for yourself and judge later. Enjoy!
“Can’t Feel My Face” follows “The Hills” and is most likely the first official single off his upcoming sophomore album “Chapter III”, which is expected to arrive later this year.
