Can you feel it? “The Hunger Games” fever has returned and we are ready to embrace it again.
In fact, it seems like the trailer for the latest instalment of “The Hunger Games” franchise will arrive very soon as Jennifer Lawrence recently sent fans into a frenzy by revealing a first look at “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2″ on her official Facebook page.
Lawrence will reprise her role as heroine Katniss Everdeen. The new official still showed her character preparing for a war alongside a few Panem rebels, including Gale Hawthorne (played by Liam Hemsworth), Finnick Odair (played by Sam Claflin), and Messalla (played by Evan Ross).
The photo was also captioned, “6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite”, suggesting that the first trailer will be released on 9th June 2015.
The sneak peek came a few days after the official “Hunger Games” Twitter account released the first official poster for the film. The poster featured the beheaded statue of the leader of the Capitol, President Snow (played by Donald Sutherland).

Directed by Francis Lawrence, “The Hunger Games” is the film adaptation of the Suzanne Collins’ famed YA fiction trilogy. The 1st book was adapted into a live-acton movie in 2012 and immediately gained a huge following. The 2nd book “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” was subsequently turned into a film while the 3rd book “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” has been split into 2 films instead.
The 2nd part of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” will pick up where the previous film left off, with Katniss and her fellow Panem rebels confronting President Snow in the final showdown. Katniss will team up with a unit from District 13 and a group of her closest friends including Peeta (played by Josh Hutcherson) to engage in an all-out revolution against the autocratic Capitol.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” is scheduled for release on 20th November 2015.
