After 11 years of hiatus, Jinusean is finally back with a new single!

Despite the long absence, the duo frequently appeared on Korean variety shows and talk shows. This caused some fans to speculate that they are no longer involved in the music industry. However, their latest single, “Tell Me One More Time”, showed that they are back for good!

The song has a distinctive funky sound and it featured YG trainee, Jang Hanna from “K-Pop Star 3” as the vocalist. Yoo Jae Suk, Haha, Bobby from iKON, and several top stars also made cameo appearances in the music video.

The song, which began with Jinusean’s previous hit “Tell Me”, suggested that it is the sequel to the 1997 hit single. In the video, the duo can be seen warping through different years via a time machine.

And if that’s not enough, it seems like the YG Family is throwing their support behind Jinusean as well!

Epik High‘s Tablo, who helped compose and produce the track, said:

Our goal was to make a dance song that anyone could comfortably enjoy without trying to look overly cool and maintaining a strong 1990’s scent. That’s why songs back then were more innocent. If we had to place ‘Tell Me One More Time” in one genre, it would have to be 1990’s K-Pop. It can also be labeled as New Disco.

He also helped Jinusean promote their track by dedicating a few Instagram posts to them.

Sean also posted a video of iKON on Instagram with the caption, “The support message of YG’s youngest ^^ Tonight is what kind of night? Jinusean night!!!

The caption was also in reference to the repetitive hook of the song.

YG 막내들의 응원메시지^^ 오늘 밤은 무슨밤?~ 지누션밤!!!~ #IKON #JINUSEAN #지누션밤
