Frank Ocean has big plans for July.
The “Thinking Bout You” R&B crooner has been awfully quiet since the release of his album “Channel Orange” in 2012, but the long-awaited follow-up is apparently coming very soon. On Monday (April 6th), Ocean posted a picture to his Tumblr that got people talking.
The picture was an image of himself looking down at stacks of magazines called “Boys Don’t Cry,” and along with that picture, he wrote, “I got two versions. I got twooo versions…”
Ocean also included the hashtags: #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY on the post that showed up on the front page of his Tumblr account.
Of course, this posting had everyone wondering what it could mean, fortunately, a rep of Ocean confirmed to Billboard that a new album and a publication of Ocean’s own are due in July. As of now, no further details have been revealed, but at least this tease gives us something to be excited about.
