Menu, please?

No, we don’t get to enjoy the food that will be served at the 72nd Golden Globes but we can, at least, take a look at the Globes’ menu at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Over 150 serving staff will be working for the Golden Globes to serve the food specially prepared by the Hilton’s executive chef, Troy N. Thompson.

Thompson prepared his recipes specially catered to the guests as the menu also include vegan and gluten-free options. Golden Globes stated on its website that the kitchen has prepared more than 700 lbs. of beef cylinders (turned from beef tenderloins), more than 400 lbs. of fish (to make filet mignon and salmon), 1,000 heads of Romaine, 10,000 silverware and plate settings, 600 full-sized bottles of wine, and 400 Moët & Chandon magnums for the big night. 1,500 Moët Impérial minis will be passed out on the red carpet too.

In addition, a dessert trio that consists of Cassis lemon cheesecake, chocolate alliance salted caramel, and hazelnut dacquoise will be prepared by executive pastry chef Thomas Henzi. Guests can opt to savour a scrumptious julienne of apple, celery, and grapes in an emulsion of whipped egg white and lemon juice or a special cocktail created by Ingrid Bergman’s granddaughter, Elettra Wiedermann, whose Mom is Golden Globe nominee, Isabella Rosellini.
