Not only has he bagged the #1 DJ in the world title numerous times, Armin van Buuren holds the record for most entries into the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Let’s not forget his weekly radio show, “A State of Trance” and the juggernaut that is Armada Music. Also, just earlier this year, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for his single “This Is What It Feels Like” – his first ever nomination but deservingly so.

Apparently, the multiple award-winning Armin van Buuren is among the “top five of the most requested figures” and thus, Madame Tussauds has decided to abide by the flood of requests. Armin reportedly had to partake in two different sessions in which 500 measurements were taken, followed by the mod and exact copies of his teeth and eyes being made.

What’s more mind blowing is that fact that wax Armin will be joining wax sculptures of Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie behind the DJ booth in the “A-list room”.
Hey, he might’ve performed for the King and Queen of The Netherlands but it’s evident that Armin van Buuren is a royalty in his own right too – a dance music royalty, that is. And Madame Tussauds is proof of that!
