During the final show of his celebratory concert series, in honor of his nightclub’s new opening (40/40), American rapper and record producer Jay-Z invited someone special for a duet – his wifey Beyoncé.
Beyoncé surprised thousands of fans as she hit the stage with her hubby at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The R&B diva swagged out in black leather shorts and a Brooklyn Nets cap to perform “Diva” solo and then “Crazy in Love” with Jay-Z.
She later returned on stage in black leather pants and a matching leather jacket to sing the final closing song, “Young Forever” with her man. Aww! Still crazy in love, we see.
What? Think there was no way so many people could’ve caught the sold-out concert since a lot of them were way over here with us on the other side of the world? Well, guess again. Fans from around the globe caught the live streaming via Jay-Z’s new “Life + Times” YouTube channel, which launched Saturday night.
In the near future, the new YouTube channel will feature original video content including the Brooklyn Nets docu-series, “The Road to Booklyn” and a fan-interaction show called, “Roc Nation Check-in“, according to USA Today. (Source)
IconicTV co-founder and chief creative officer, Michael Hirschorn, told USA Today about the collaboration with Jay-Z and YouTube, “The site really is a way for Jay to showcase the breadth of his interests, from fashion, architecture, music, style, food, consumables, electronics, and so forth.”
