PJ Live Arts will stage a new series of monthly magic performances called “Magic Live“, beginning June. Produced in collaboration with Magic Annexe, Magic Live is scheduled to run every last Wednesday of the month at PJ Live Arts’ new performance space, Cabaret.

Magic Live will feature the artful sleight of hand of illusionists such as Anslem Roy (one of Asia’s leading magic performers), Bryan Yap (a new talent with the rope), skull-toting Jeff Gan, and costume switcheroo extraodinaire, Avery Chin. Audiences can expect a mix of raw and no-frills magic with engaging theatrics from this diverse set of performers.

In between these mystifying Wednesdays, the Cabaret also presents new and original material by up-and-coming stand-up comedians. One Mic Stand, an open mic platform hosted by funnymen Kavin Jay and Rizal van Geyzel, will continue its run every Tuesday night throughout June.
