Belgian brothers DJ duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike rocked the 7th annual Tomorrowland Fesitval in Belgium, playing alongside other big EDM names such as Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, 2manydjs, and Tiësto. Perhaps it was easy for them to impress the crowd because they were literally playing in their home ground. Or, perhaps they really do possess star quality.
The brothers have come a very, very long way in a super short period of time. One day, they were just starting out and in a blink of an eye, they’ve skipped all levels of the standard “career building” and “career beginnings” and are now one of the world’s most sought after producers.
And we don’t blame them. In only two years, Dimitry Vegas and Like Mike have become remixers to the A-list elite and “Number One Hit Makers”. With that success, they’ve also bagged several notable accolades. Some that would’ve taken other DJs/producers a lifetime to achieve.
One of their tracks, “The Way We See The World” have become one of the EDM industry’s most overplayed, “sure win” tracks:

We can see why.
When asked about the production for “The Way We See The World”, Dimitri said, “We did it with Afrojack and the Nervo twins. We met Afrojack in Miami so we started talking and we thought he was the right guy, and he was really down to do it too. We did a really good demo and Nervo made an amazing vocal to it.”

We guess it’s safe to say that, like many other “Godfathers” of EDM before them, everything that they touch is bound to turn to gold. Or, bound to end up in other DJs’/producers’ playlists.
