LEGOLAND Malaysia, located in Iskandar Malaysia, Nusajaya, Johor Bahru, is the sixth LEGOLAND to be built in the world and the very first in Asia.
Targeted at families with children between the ages of two to twelve years, LEGOLAND Parks are based on the universally popular LEGO construction toy range. They offer families the opportunity to bond, learn and push the boundaries of their imaginations through LEGO experiences. At LEGOLAND, families can practice their imagination and creativity, have fun while learning, and understand the importance of caring and quality.
Slated for a 15th September 2012 (Saturday) grand opening, LEGOLAND Malaysia is inspired by Asia’s growing love affair with all things LEGO®, the new 76-acre theme park will have more than 40 “pink-knuckle” rides – from roller coasters to race cars as well as family focused interactive shows and attractions.
Siegfried Boerst (General Manager of LEGOLAND Malaysia) disclosed the date at a briefing and site tour held yesterday in Nusajaya. “Our official opening date has been a closely guarded secret since the park broke ground in December 2009. We hope with today’s news families and tour operators can begin planning their trips to visit us and we look forward to giving you an experience like no other in Asia.”
He also went on to announce the official park single-day tickets going on sale.
These can be bought from today onwards at a special introductory offer of RM96 for adults and RM70 for kids. The 30% discount will only be for a limited period only and tickets can be purchased here.

Muhammad Zainal Ashikin b. Muhammad Rejab (Chief Executive Officer of IDR Resorts) said, “The Park is now 75% complete with many of the rides and park infrastructure installed. Next month our contractors will begin the work on the theming of the Park and the installing of millions of LEGO bricks and the attractions.”
Epic!
And you know that saying, “You grow up but you don’t grow old”? Totally applies to us! Personally, we can’t wait for LEGOLAND Malaysia to come to life!
