When we first heard that 43-year-old Jennifer Aniston started dating 41-year-old Justin Theroux, we held our breaths and wondered, “Could this be it? Could this be? Oh please let it be!”. Our prayers were answered just hours ago when Jennifer’s rep, Stephen Huvane confirmed that she is engaged. Finally!
The lovely couple started dating more than a year ago after working on the comedy, “Wanderlust”. And soon after, Jennifer and Justin moved in together. Of course, that move (no pun intended) set the media ablaze with rumours of marriage. Hah! For once, the tabloids were reporting things that were true!
In a statement to People (who first reported the engagement), Theroux’s rep said, “Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage”. Aww.
We’re so happy for America’s favourite sweetheart! Congratulations, Jennifer and Justin.
