Last Friday, the newly opened Paradigm Mall‘s guests, tenants, and shoppers were treated to an unconventional and unforgettable cocktail gala event just two days after the mall opened its doors to PJ-ites and all urban shoppers looking for a twist to the definition of lifestyle shopping.
VIPs for the night included Dato’ Captain Ahmad Sufian (WCT Chairman), Mr Taing Kim Hwa (Managing Director of WCT Berhad) and members of the WCT Board of Directors.
Led by the spunky and stylish emcees for the night, Bernie Chan and Hansen Lee, the event commenced with a launch by the VIPs, unveiling two life-sized scrolls unfurling with the logo of the mall to signify the launching of the mall.
The agenda for the night continued with a fun fashion extravaganza incorporating a fusion of dance, modeling, and performances by the renowned Hong Kong singer/songwriter, Justin Lo, who had flown down to Malaysia to make this special appearance.
And also Malaysia’s very own petite songstress and once winner of the Best Recording Album, Dayang Nurfaizah, who belted out a few local favourites to the delight of the audience.
“We are very pleased to welcome you to PJ’s latest lifestyle mall. With 320 outlets spanning across 700,000 sq ft, the options of dining, shopping and entertainment are endless!”, said Dato’ Captain Ahmad Sufian (Chairman of WCT Berhad) during his speech at the event.
The evening didn’t end there, of course. Things got a little bit more interesting when more than a handful of some the audience’s much-loved brands, which are now all available in Paradigm Mall, also took to the runway with their latest collections. They are:

Then, the efforts to light up the catwalk took on an interesting twist when models dressed up as French Maids and sashayed down the runway, carrying ornate frames featuring some of the exciting F&B brands such The Loaf, Italiannies, Snowflake, TGI Friday, Miraku, Sushi Q, Moo Cow, and Sakae Sushi amongst the many sumptuous dining brands available at the mall.
“Be it a Friday night or any other day or time of the week, shoppers can pop by for good food, retail therapy or even catch the latest blockbuster movie on one of our GSC nine-screen cinemas, to get out of the gridlock on the roads! How? Well, we have 4300 parking bays and dedicated interchange tunnels from the LDP highway with direct-access into the mall for optimum convenience to our shoppers,” shared Ben Chong (General Manager of WCT Land Sdn Bhd).
