Millions of people around the world unite each year to support one of the largest environmental movements in history. We’re talking about achieving great thing when people from more than 5,000 cities and towns across the globe come together for a common cause.
Let’s face it, over the years, this one event has become more of a “community” thing and a way people can connect with each other better, by and for one reason and one reason only – to protect our planet.
We all want to do our part for the annual Earth Hour whether it’s from home, from work (if you’re planning to work late on the 31st of March), during dinner (cue the candle lights!), or even while you’re having coffee with a couple of friends
Speaking of having coffee, Starbucks Malaysia has got something special in store for those who are in support of Earth Hour 2012. Not only will they be participating by turning off a portion of lights in all their outlets, they will also be turning this into a celebration of sorts!
On the 31st of March 2012 (Saturday), if you check-in to foursquare at any Starbucks outlet from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, you will be entitled to a complimentary grande size Frappucino.
