Time doesn’t wait, but these new watches are worth pausing for.
Piaget and Zenith are turning heads with their new limited-edition watches—one inspired by Andy Warhol’s art, the other built with gravity-defying tech. More than just watches, they’re bold works of art for those who love great design.
Piaget X Andy Warhol
Piaget has introduced the Andy Warhol Watch ‘Collage’ Limited Edition, a stunning piece that celebrates both art and time. Limited to only 50 pieces worldwide, the watch features a colourful design inspired by Warhol’s 1986 “Collage” artwork, with each gemstone carefully arranged to capture his playful and creative spirit.
The 45mm case is made from 18-carat yellow gold, chosen to honour the watch Warhol personally owned in 1973. It mirrors the elegance and glamour of the original design, while the stepped case shape gives it a strong and confident presence on the wrist.
For over 150 years, Piaget has been inspired by art, creating watches that combine skill and creativity. The collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation continues this spirit, showing that a watch can be both functional and expressive. Every part of this limited edition piece reflects Warhol’s bold vision and Piaget’s fine craftsmanship, making it a true celebration of individuality and timeless style.
The Andy Warhol Watch ‘Collage’ Limited Edition is limited to only 50 pieces worldwide and is priced from approximately USD 78,000 (~RM 366,600). The collection is now available at selected Piaget boutiques and on Piaget’s official website.
ZENITH Defy Zero G Sapphire
Zenith continues to push the boundaries of watchmaking with the new Defy Zero G Sapphire Limited Edition, a creation that literally defies gravity. At its heart is Zenith’s patented “Gravity Control” system, a gimbal-mounted escapement module that keeps the regulating organ perfectly level no matter how your wrist moves, like having a tiny gyroscope inside your watch to ensure flawless accuracy at all times.
The Defy Zero G’s advanced technology is housed in a 46mm sapphire case, available in two versions—deep celestial blue or fully transparent sapphire. Its openworked dial showcases the El Primero 8812 movement, made from 139 finely crafted parts. The blue version features a lapis lazuli dial with gold-toned flecks that look like a starry sky, making each watch one of a kind. Details like the engraved counterweight and glowing markers add to its beauty, while the blue alligator strap gives it a sleek and modern finish.
Limited to only 10 pieces per version worldwide, the Defy Zero G is a special timepiece that blends science, art, and expert craftsmanship. It is priced at USD 207,500 (~RM 975,000) and available now at selected Zenith boutiques, online, and through authorised retailers worldwide.
