With what’s going on in the world, we need TV more than ever. Mostly cause we’re needed indoors now more than ever.

With plenty of time at home, it’s definitely the best time to catch up on television and streaming services are offering a hefty variety of them to go around. We don’t know when all this is going to blow over but for now, here are some new series making their way to streaming services in April.

1. “Money Heist : Part 4”

YouTube video

First up, “Money Heist” or as it is known in its native tongue “La casa de papel” which translates to “House of Paper”. This critically acclaimed Spanish heist crime drama is one of the most watched series on Netflix and it’s easy to see why. It’s great! If you haven’t gotten the chance to check it out, you got all the time to do so right now and if you’re a returning viewer, have fun.

“Money Heist” season 4 is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 3rd April 2020.

2. “#blackAF”

3. “Never Have I Ever”

YouTube video

This new series is a coming of age comedy that will focus on the life of an Indian-American teenage girl and it’s inspired by the early life of producer Mindy Kaling… This is going to be interesting.

“Never Have I Ever” is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 27th April 2020.

4. “Mrs. America”

Hulu is offering some pretty cool line-ups next month. One of them is the Cate Blanchett starring “Mrs. America” as part of the new “FX on Hulu” showcase. This miniseries centers around the true story of the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. Set in the backdrop of the culture wars of the 1970s, Cate Blanchett plays conservative woman Phyllis Schlafy, a vocal opponent of the women’s liberation movement.

“Mrs. America” is scheduled to premiere on Hulu on 15th April 2020.

5. “What We Do In The Shadows” Season 2

YouTube video

Staten Island’s lamest vampires are back with a second season. This mockumentary series centering around four vampires housemates who have lived together for hundreds of years. This may very well resonate with how some people are feeling at the moment.

6. “I Know This Much Is True”

This HBO original stars Mark Ruffalo and Mark Ruffalo (And no, that’s not a typo). Ruffalo play Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in this limited series that looks like it could tug at your heart strings and earn Mark Ruffalo and Emmy.

“I Know This Much is True” is scheduled to premiere on HBO on 27th April 2020.

7. “Atlanta’s Missing and Murdered: The Lost Children”

YouTube video

This documentary series will tackle one of the biggest mysteries in American crime. Between 1979-1981, at least 30 African American children and young adults disappeared or were murdered in Atlanta. Although 23-year-old Raymond Williams was prosecuted for two of the crimes, the other cases were closed. This series looks like it’s gonna raise some new questions in regards to the cases and it’s going to be something to pay attention to.

9. “Defending Jacob”

YouTube video

Now, we’re moving on to Apple TV+ with “Defending Jacob”.
