Someone was a naughty boy at Madonna’s concert recently 😉
As per custom during every Madonna “Rebel Heart” show, her “Pop Highness” would invite a lucky fan from the audience to come up onstage and dance with her and her backup dancers towards the finale of her performance. Her latest concert in Macau was no different.
During her pitstop at the Studio City Event Centre (SCEC) on Saturday, the Queen of Pop’s performance in Macau featured the same tradition by bringing a lucky fan onstage. That lucky fan, as it turned out, was none other than Hong Kong singer Eason Chan, who is also known as Asia’s “King of Cantopop”.
According to Toggle, Chan was chosen out of the thousands in attendance because he was dancing excitably in the audience area and Madonna noticed him. The American pop diva was apprehensive that the concert was turning monotonous so she got one of her crew to invite Chan up to perk up the atmosphere.
Chan not only danced alongside Madonna during her “Unapologetic Bitch” number, but at one point, he even bent over as the music legend playfully smack his butt. Unaware of his celebrity status with the locals, Madonna asked for his name.
To which he replied:
My name is Eason. Season, without the S.
Their fun interaction drew loud cheers from the crowd. To reward Chan’s spontaneity, Madonna presented him with a banana as a “prize” and even asked him to “lick it up”. Feeling slightly embarrassed, he declined, saying that his daughter was also in attendance.
After the concert, Chan took to Facebook to share some pictures from the concert with the caption, “Guess I’m a naughty boy tonight.”
Well, who wouldn’t jump on the opportunity to be Madonna’s “unapologetic bitch” for a few blissful minutes. According to Sina Entertainment, Chan was ecstatic to have had the experience of being Madonna’s lucky chosen one. “Of course I feel very excited. It is Madonna!” he told reporters after the event.
Aside from Chan, Madonna’s 2-night concert also attracted a number of high profile Asian celebrities such as Aaron Kwok, Miriam Yeung, Charlene Choi, Christy Chung, Carina Lau, couples Simon Yam and Qi Qi, as well as Leo Ku and Lorraine Chan.
