Yuna Named ECCO’s “Icon” For Its 2025 Campaign & We’re Here For It!

This partnership is on point! Danish premium footwear and leather goods brand ECCO has announced Yuna as its latest campaign star in Malaysia and Singapore.

Empowered. Fearless. Unapologetic. A force for change. Yuna embodies the modern icon – an individual whose artistry, confidence, and resilience redefine global culture. As a musician who has charted her path on the international stage, she exemplifies ECCO’s philosophy of creating and innovating.

For ECCO, an icon is more than someone who is recognised – it is someone who leaves a lasting imprint on society. Icons are visionaries, changemakers, and pioneers who challenge the status quo.

Yuna’s journey – from Kuala Lumpur to international success – reflects ECCO’s commitment to empowering women with footwear that supports them at every step. Launched on International Women’s Day, Yuna shares her thoughts on what it means to be an icon:

“What makes a woman iconic is being authentically yourself. It sounds simple, but it’s challenging in a world that often places women in boxes. Through my experiences as a woman in the entertainment industry, I’ve learned that being iconic isn’t measured by material achievements. It starts with self-validation and courage to ‘step boldly’ as yourself. It’s about standing by your principles, trusting your inner voice, and knowing that rejection is redirecting towards something better. True icons also uplift others, using their privilege to empower women around them, every woman is an icon in their own ways”.
