“Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel has got some juicy news for all of the “xXx” fans out there.
Most of you already know that Diesel is very active on social media as he shares updates and interesting news with his fans from time to time.
On 16th December (Wednesday), Diesel shared some exciting news about the 3rd “xXx” film on his Facebook page. He posted a picture of him with Samuel L. Jackson, confirming that the “Avengers” star will return to reprise his role as NSA Agent Gibbons in the upcoming movie.
The picture was captioned: “Excited to work with Sam again… his portrayal of Gibbons was so good… timeless. Welcome to the Xander Zone!”
In the original movie, Jackson’s Agent Augustus Euguene Gibbons recruited Diesel’s Xander Cage, a thrill seeking extreme sports enthusiast to work for the government. In “xXx: State of the Union”, he did the same by hiring prisoner and former Navy SEAL officer Darius Stone (played by Ice Cube).
Titled “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage“, the film has also added UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor to the cast. However, Diesel has yet to confirm McGregor’s role.
Diesel also shared some official concept art from “xXx 3” via a video he posted on his Instagram.
It’s unclear what will be featured in the film, but the video shows an image of a meteor headed for Earth. It also shows Cage jumping out of a plane and almost getting hit on a bus while he is on a skateboard. The character can also be seen on some kind of waterski/motorcycle hybrid.

The action spy film will be written by John D. Bracanto (“Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines”) and Michael Ferris (“The Game”) with D.J. Caruso helming the film. Diesel announced on his Instagram account that filming will take place in the Phillipines this month. However, the release date of “xXx3” has not been announced yet.
With Samuel starring in the film, we are sure that the upcoming “xXx” film will turn to be a sensational hit 😉
