The parents of an 8-year-old student were alarmed when they found out that their son was recently involved in a sex crime.
The young student from an Islamic school in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, claimed that his 13-year-old senior paid him RM3 to perform oral sex. It allegedly happened more than once.
According to Malay daily Sinar Harian, the exploitation took place around 5:30pm on 2 different occasions – 10th and 11th October – inside a store room within the school compound. Kelantan CID chief ACP Mohamad Fakri Che Sulaiman stated that the young victim was not paid the first time he was asked to perform oral sex.
“The next day, the victim was again asked to perform the same actions and offered money. When the victim had just finished eating in the cafeteria, he accepted RM3 given to him by the senior before following him to a store room,” said Fakri.
When the 8-year-old boy was recently down with fever, the victim’s friend notified his parents. The parents have since lodged a police report and investigations are currently underway.
