Grab Malaysia is taking audiences on an inspiring road trip across Southeast Asia with “Rakan Grab Jelajah ASEAN”, a new three-part web series produced in collaboration with KS Lagi.
The series highlights how Grab’s driver- and delivery-partners are helping to shape technology that connects communities and drives the region forward.

Inspired by real stories from the road, the series follows three Malaysian Grab partners—Muhamad Syukri bin Ghazali from Pahang, Muhamad Aiman bin Muhamad Shamsudin from Perak, and Christine Wee Seow Ling from Terengganu—as they travel with host Shahril Hamdan across Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Each episode captures the shared spirit of resilience, innovation, and connection that powers ASEAN’s growth.

“Our driver- and delivery-partners are the heartbeat of Grab. Their everyday experiences inspire the technology we build—technology that’s inclusive, sustainable, and designed for the region,” said Adelene Foo, Managing Director, Grab Malaysia.
For many of the partners, this journey marked their first trip abroad, giving them a chance to connect with their peers across ASEAN and see how Grab’s innovations are improving lives across borders.

“It was inspiring to meet fellow Grab partners who share the same goals—providing for their families, serving their communities, and always moving forward. Even though our cities are different, the spirit is the same,” shared Muhamad Syukri bin Ghazali, Grab driver-partner from Pahang.
Through “Rakan Grab Jelajah ASEAN”, viewers will see how Grab combines local insights with regional collaboration to build solutions that empower communities—from AI-powered tools for partners to greener mobility innovations.
