The Shangri-La Group is a name that many are familiar with. From luxury hotels to delightful culinary experiences, the brand enables one to create their own moments of Shangri-La. If you don’t already know, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Shangri-La actually means a remote, beautiful, imaginary place where life approaches perfection. Or in other words, your very own utopia.
This month, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur has planned some awesome promotions through their “Power Of Pink” campaign. In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 5% of the whole campaign’s proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).

Exclusively from 1st to 23rd October, stop by Shangri-La’s Lobby Lounge for a fun pink-themed Afternoon Tea! Both guests and non-guests can enjoy a number of savoury treats including Spicy Prawn Salad, Pickle Kyuri with Beet Cornets, Cured Trout with Chive Crème Fraiche Brioche, Burrata and Grilled Heirloom Tomato Salad Eclairs, Vanilla Sable with Rose Lychee Raspberry Mousse, Red Velvet Cheese Bar, Matcha Cherry Financier and more. The set is priced at RM148 nett per person.
If you don’t feel like going for the Pink Afternoon Tea, you can treat yourself to a variety of snacks and goodies at Lemon Garden 2Go. The variety of snacks include the Pink Awareness Chocolate Pinata inspired (350g), Praline Boxes, Red Velvet Cup Cakes – 4 pieces a box (50g each), Macarons- Chocolate and Vanilla flavour- 10 pieces a box (12g each), Raspberry Cherry Cake (1kg), Pull-Me-Up-Cake (1kg), Pink October Doughnut 4 pieces per box (25g each) and more.

Every year, this CSR project highlights Shangri-La’s efforts to educate the public about the effects of breast cancer. So, in collaboration with BCWA, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur will be providing free clinical Mobile Breast Examinations to all guests on 28th October from 1pm to 5pm at the Lower Lobby Foyer. Together, let’s do our part in spreading the word because early detection may help save lives.
