Earlier this year, international superstar Yuna launched her first collection of bags and shoes with local designer Christy Ng.
Seeing how well-received the Yuna x Christy Ng collections by the public, it appears that people have been trying to profit off these fashionable items by selling versions of it online at a much cheaper price.
Over the weekend, the 32-year-old singer took to her Instagram stories to call out a particular seller who is selling the Alis Saddle Bag designs online at half the price. While the original price cost RM189, online resellers are selling these minimalistic designer bags between RM69 – RM95.
“Do not buy from this seller, it’s not the original item. We do not have factory overruns. This is counterfeit merchandise,” wrote Yuna. The pop star also warned fans that there is “no such thing as original factory overstock“, so don’t fall for it and “don’t give your money to crooks…cause the quality is shit“.
A quick look at Facebook only showed us that there are many more accounts online selling what seems to be fake Yuna x Christy Ng bags.
The safest bet is always to purchase it from the original source.
