Bad news for Ed Sheeran fans, the singer has been forced to cancelled several shows from his “Divide” Asia tour.
This comes after the 26-year-old star announced that he suffered a broken arm due to a nasty bike accident. After being knocked down by a vehicle while cycling in London, Sheeran was left with fractures in his right wrist and left elbow.
“A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details,” Sheeran wrote.
As some of you may know, the entertainer is due to bring his “Divide” tour to several parts of Asia over the next few weeks. He was scheduled to perform at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taiwan this Sunday (22nd October). Unfortunately, that’s a no-go.
PR Worldwide issued a statement yesterday (Wednesday, 18th October) that there are currently no changes to Sheeran’s show in Malaysia yet. More details will be revealed in time to come.
