Ever been to a waterfall restaurant before? If not, you might want to add this to your bucket list.
Called Labasin Waterfalls Restaurant, the eatery is located at Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort in Quezon Province, east Manila. It’s perhaps the only place in the world that allows guests to enjoy a thundering live waterfall up close while their meals.
The unique experience at the waterfall restaurant offers visitors a glimpse at Philippines’ heritage and culture. Formerly a coconut plantation, it was transformed into a jungle-side restaurant that serves traditional Filipino buffet on bamboo leaves. Local dishes include Miswa soup, pancit canton, grilled pork liempo, lechon manok, and a wide variety of fresh salad as well as grilled or steamed fish and vegetables.
The bamboo tables and chairs are situated right next to the Labasin Falls. In between meals, diners can even cool off in the cool spring water or get a quick head massage against the wall of the waterfall. It’s a watery thrill unlike any other, to say the least.
