The airing date for the highly-anticipated Korean remake of HBO’s much-loved comedy series “Entourage” is nearing and like many of you K-Drama fans, we are super excited to see it!
In anticipation to its release in November, tvN has released several group and individual character posters. Judging by the looks of the posters’ eye-catching visuals, its safe that the drama’s setting is going to be great.
Starring Jo Jin Woong, Lee Kwang Soo, Park Jung Min, Lee Dong Hwi, and Seo Kang Joon, “Entourage” (안투라지) is pre-filmed.
The upcoming drama will also feature many special cameo appearances from popular actors and singers including Jin Goo, Song Ji Hyo, In Gyo Jin, So Yi Hyun, f(x)’s Amber, and former Wonder Girls member Sohee.
The plot is as follows:
“Cha Yeong Bin (played by Seo Kang Joon) is a rising star actor in South Korea. He has been best friends with Lee Ho Jin (played by Park Jung Min), Cha Joon (played by Lee Kwang Soo), and Geo Book (which means turtle in Korean, played by Lee Dong Hwi) since they were all children. Yeong Bi belongs to a management company with Kim Eun Gab (played by Jo Jin Woong) as the CEO.”
The posters also show some character details: Eun Gab is an entertainment “strategist”; Ho Jin dreams of being a director; Geo Book gives Yeong Bin rides and is unemployed; Joon is a former 90s idol; and Yeong Bin likes to enjoy the best in life.

HBO’s “Entourage” ran from 2004 to 2011 and it was based on real-life situations in the Hollywood, giving an insight into the world of entertainment. The Korean remake is said to retain the original concept and black comedic nature, but will introduce Korean culture and emotions to it.
“Entourage” is slated for release at 11pm (KST) on 4th November.
