Hottests (as 2PM fans are known as), you’ll be able to meet your favourite boys very, very soon!
JYP Entertainment has revealed that 2PM will be making their comeback in mid-September, which is only 2 weeks away! However, they did not specify a date, so it is possible for the idol group to release their album a little sooner than that.
In a statement, JYP Entertainment said:
“2PM has set a goal to make a comeback by the middle of September and is currently preparing for the new album.”
They also revealed a little about 2PM’s upcoming concept, stating that “the album will show a different masculine image than their previous ‘beast-idol’ concept”.
Several insiders have also disclosed that the group will be presenting a more “friendly and mellow” song this time around, in contrast to their previous upbeat numbers. They have also filmed the music video for their upcoming title track in a location “near Seoul” recently.
It has been more than a year since the release of 2PM’s 5th studio album, “No. 5“. The members of the group showed their talents at producing tracks, as 11 out of the 12 song from the album were written and composed by members Jun.K, Junho, Taecyeon and Chansung.
UPDATE (6th September, 12:15pm):
JYP Entertainment has released a few new individual teaser images of Junho, Wooyoung, Nickhun, and Chansung in anticipation of 2PM’s upcoming comeback.
In the series of promo shots, the boys can be seen posing handsomely in chic, sophisticated clothing. The words “Promise” and “Gentlemen’s Game” are written on the bottom right of the image. Their latest album will be released at midnight on 13th September 2016.
