We haven’t been able to watch “The Secret Life Of Pets” in cinemas yet, but there’s already good news ahead.
Universal Pictures has given the green light for a “The Secret Life Of Pets” sequel, and it is currently scheduled for a 2018 release. More specifically, it will premiere on 13th July 2018 in North America, but it is unsure if Malaysian cinemas will be able to play the movie on the same day.

Chris Renaud and Brian Lynch, the director and writer for the original, will be reprising their roles for the follow-up. It will be co-produced by Illumination Entertainment, the company that brought us the minions craze.
Already raking in more than US$400 million (approximately RM1.6 billion) in worldwide box office and gaining positive critic reviews, “The Secret Life Of Pets” takes place in a Manhattan apartment building, where the life of a terrier named Max is turned upside down when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel, Duke. However, Max finds out that Duke is not the ultimate threat, as an adorable bunny by the name of Snowball starts to build an army of abandoned pets to exact revenge on all happy-owned pets and their owners.
