In the past few months, Luhan has been actively promoting himself as an actor in China after filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and withdrawing from EXO.
However, he hasn’t given up on singing yet!
Following the news of Tao’s debut as a solo artiste, Luhan announced in July that he is gearing up to release his own solo album too.
After almost a month of working on the album, Luhan has finally set a release date for its upcoming release. It has been revealed that the former idol group member will be making his comeback as a solo artiste in China next month.
Titled “Reloaded”, the mini album is slated for release on 14th September. It will mark Luhan’s first comeback as a solo artiste since his departure from EXO. Luhan is said to have worked with American producer Djemba Djemba in Beijing during the production process.
In the teaser images, a red deer can be seen and it is likely referring to the nickname given to Luhan by his fans.
It is unclear how many songs will be included in the album but what we do know is that Luhan will be seen next as the male lead of “I Am A Witness”, a Chinese remake of a 2011 Korean thriller and a crime-based award-winning flick titled, “Blind“.
He is also starring alongside Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon and Hong Kong legendary singer-actor Andy Lau in Yimou’s upcoming first ever English film, “The Great Wall“.
