Looking forward to BIGBANG’s music video for “If You” and “Sober”? Sorry to disappoint, but we’ve got some bad news for you.
YG Entertainment revealed that there won’t be a music video for BIGBANG upcoming single “If You“, touted as the “saddest song BIGBANG has ever written”. However, fans need not panic, as there will be a music video for “Sober“.
An official representative from YG Entertainment stated:
The reason why it does not have a music video is because since BIGBANG’s debut in 2006, “If You” is their saddest song ever. “If You” is a track that will touch you emotionally. A music video wasn’t shot so that you can focus on the music and lyrics only.
Meanwhile, “Sober” is reported to be a summer dance track, which will be accompanied by a music video that is shot in a “unique style”.
“If You” and “Sober”, which will be released tomorrow (1st July), are the BIGBANG’s releases for their third “MADE” release, MADE series “D”. The group has consistently been releasing 2 tracks per month starting from May, with the full album titled “MADE” scheduled to be released on 1st September 2015.
So far, the boys have released 4 title tracks, including “Loser” and “Bae Bae” from MADE series “M”, as well as “Bang Bang Bang” and “We Like 2 Party” from MADE series “A”. All of the title tracks came with their own music videos.
On a side note, YG Entertainment released several teaser photos and countdown counters for BIGBANG’s upcoming releases.
