Adele’s single for Skyfall was such a huge success, winning an Oscar plus a Golden Globe plus a Brit Award that the “James Bond” film franchise producers are engaging her for more projects. Following the critical and commercial success, they’ve signed the soulful Brit artiste to provide the theme tune for the next “James Bond” film!
Upon the announcement, a source told the Sun, “Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success. They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley”.
Dame Shirley aka Shirley Bassey was the singer responsible for singing many famous “James Bond” hits in the past such as “Diamond Are Forever”, “Mooraker”, and “Goldfinger”. To liken Adele to Dame Shirley is, wow?
Meanwhile, with regards to whether or not Adele will be releasing a new album anytime soon, she said that she will only release a new album when she has “something to sing about”. It’s alright, Adele! Playing Mama can’t be easy, after all.
